Bacteriology is a subdiscipline of microbiology, which includes the study of organisms belonging to the domains Bacteria and Archaea.

The reproductive physiology refers to the complex events and mechanisms involved in the function of the reproductive system in both males and females. It includes the differentiation of breast tissue during pregnancy, the integrated neuroendocrine and molecular mechanisms of ovulation, and the production of gametes and reproductive hormones.
